New This Week!



	Environmental and Internship Career Fair will be Thursday, November 8th! This will be held from 10 am to 2 pm in Freeborn Hall, with over 70 companies attending!

	Opportunities from the California Legislative Analyst’s Office. There are opportunities available for a Fiscal/Policy Analyst and Summer Internships. The deadline to apply is Friday, December 14th.

	nPost: A site dedicated to tech start-ups. Helpful sites that provide one-on-one interviews with tech entrepreneurs and a job board to search for start-up opportunities.

	Quick Note Regarding Conference Rooms. We'd like to give students a heads-up that many of the conference rooms near Career Services' office may often be booked on Fridays due to Mock Interviews and hosting an array of recruiters. We apologize for the inconvenience.

	A Taste of L'Oreal NYC Weekend. January 11-13, 2008. Intended to open the doors of L'Oreal to 32 first-year MBAs interested in career paths in marketing and brand management. Trip includes a creative business case study, high level marketing presentations and great networking opportunities. Deadline to apply is November 9, 2007. 	CalPERS 6th Annual MBA Student Outreach Workshop. This will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007. A great way to learn about internship opportunities and Investment programs at CalPERS! The deadline to apply is Wednesday, October 31.


	Berkeley Finance Conference. This event will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007. There will be keynote speakers from Goldman Sachs and Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco!

	2008 Global Social Entrepreneurship Competition (GSEC) - Feburary 25-29, University of Washington. Do you care about social well-being? Do you think business should have a role? Application deadline October 31, 2007.
