New This Week!
  CalPERS Investment Career Day. Tuesday, February 19, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the CalPERS Headquarters, 400 Q Street in Sacramento. Spend a day learning about the California Public Employees' Retirement System's Investment Office at their 1st Annual "CalPERS Day." NOTE: The GSM can only send 5 students at this time. Please reserve your spot by signing up on eRecruiting by February 5. Even is open to all full-time students and WPs w/waivers.
  Webgrrls International Announces New Job Postings. Webgrrls International has multiple new job opportunities posted on its JobBank website at http://www.webgrrls.com/jobbank/. Webgrrls JobBank averages over 26,000 job postings on a daily basis from a variety of potential employers including large, mid-sized and smaller companies.
  International Career Fair 2008. February 29 to March 1 at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco. This fair is a great opportunity for students and graduates to network with international employers. Register now at http://www.icf08.com.
  Summer Internships at PPIC. The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) is a private, nonprofit, research organization, conducting nonpartisan policy research with an active outreach program. PPIC aims to inform and improve public policy through high-quality, independent, nonpartisan research and analysis of public policy issues affecting California. PPIC has several summer internship opportunities available, as detailed in the descriptions on its website at http://www.ppic.org/main/position.asp?i=1201. These internships are particularly appropriate for current students in graduate programs in economics, public administration, public policy, and related disciplines. Application deadline is March 14, 2008.

For the first time ever, nine alumni associations of the University of California have banded together to organize two all-alumni career advancement conferences -- one in Los Angeles on 2/12/08 and one in San Francisco on 3/18/07.
