The GSM will host its 5th Annual Peer-to-Pier networking event in San Francisco on Thursday, March 6, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at
The Waterfront Restaurant. This year's theme is "Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Prosperity"; we will discuss how we have woven the values of sustainability into our academic activities, curriculum and MBA experience, and executives in high-tech, retail, financial services, health care and consulting will share how they are integrating environmental, social and governance concerns into their strategic thinking and daily operations.

Consulting Center Projects for Spring Quarter.
Consulting Center Projects for Spring have been selected. Students in good academic standing who are interested in working on a student team for one of the projects are encouraged to review the three projects at
http://students.gsm.ucdavis.edu/consulting/ and then email Kathy Klenzendorf at
krklenzendorf@ucdavis.edu along with a copy of your current resume; a brief statement as to why you want to work on the project and what/how you think you can contribute to the team; and a note of which project(s), in ranked order, you are interested in. Please enter "Consulting Center" into the subject line.
All resumes and statements will be considered as they are received and selection of teams will start immediately!
Tuesday, March 11, is the deadline for applications and Teams will be assigned no later than Tuesday, March 18.

4th Annual UCIBC International Career Fair – Friday, February 29.
Register now! It’s not too late to attend the 4th Annual UCIBC International Career Fair on Friday, February 29, 2008 at Otterson Hall, Rady School of Management, UCSD. Currently, 16 employers will be in attendance to meet and screen approximately 260 MBA and Master’s business candidates from the 7 top UC graduate programs, all in one location. Some of our students have already been contacted for interviews at this event.
This career fair is geared for both 1st and 2nd year international MBA students looking for international and US opportunities (domestic students interested in international opportunities may also participate). You will also get a chance to meet and network with international students from our fellow UC MBA programs.

Summer Internships at PPIC.
The Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) is a private, nonprofit, research organization, conducting nonpartisan policy research with an active outreach program. PPIC aims to inform and improve public policy through high-quality, independent, nonpartisan research and analysis of public policy issues affecting California. PPIC has several summer internship opportunities available, as detailed in the descriptions on its website at
