MBA On-Campus Recruitment
On-campus interviews can be an important part of your job search strategy. We expect that you will participate in a highly professional and ethical manner. We know we can count on you to:

• Give an honest and complete account of your work experience and education on your résumé and truthfully answer relevant questions from interviewers.
• Pursue only those positions in which you have a genuine interest.
• Not use on-campus interviewing for "practice."
• Show up on time and well prepared for all scheduled interviews.
• Respond to all invitations (in a timely manner) from companies inviting you to sign up on a pre-selected interview schedule, even if the response is to decline the interview.
• Discontinue your job search and notify all other potential employers after you have accepted an offer for an internship or career position.

If, under extraordinary circumstances (car failure, sudden illness, death in the family), you are unable to participate in an interview, you must call the Career Services office immediately. Students who do not show up have prevented another student from using a valuable interview slot and have jeopardized the GSM relationship with the employer.

Twenty-four hours notice is required to cancel a schedule interview. Failure to do so will result in revocation of interviewing privileges at the GSM until a letter of apology is sent to the recruiter and copied to the Director of Career Services.

Alumni Network
One of the most valuable career planning resources available to any school is its alumni. The GSM maintains close ties with its alumni. After finding a particular career you would like information about, see if the GSM has an alumnus working in that field. Alumni contact information is maintained and updated quarterly by the GSM development staff. Names and business addresses of alumni working in your field of interest are available in the GSM Alumni Database. This information is not intended for placement purposes, but it does allow you the opportunity to conduct informational interviews.

Working Professional MBA Program
As a student of the Graduate School of Management, you are eligible to participate in career development services offered by the School's Career Services Center. As you prepare for promotional interviews, you may wish to meet with our MBA career development counselor.
