Qualifications


MGT 150 TA position: Applicants must have had a B+ or better in MGT 201A,  The Individual & Group Dynamics

MGT 160 TA position: Applicants must have had a B+ or better in MGT 205, Financial Theory and Policy

Responsibilities
Teaching assistants are responsible for conducting discussion sections, holding office hours, and grading homework.  Although TA's are not required to attend lectures, you may be asked to administer midterms and finals for lecture and be asked to hold extra office hours during midterms/finals.  MGT 150 and 160 will be asked to lead 2 discussion sections on Fridays.

Salary and Benefits
A 25% teaching assistant appointment receives $910.61 monthly stipend and fee remission. Teaching Assistants appointed to Summer Sessions are appointed by the Office of Summer Sessions and fee remission is not applicable for summer appointments, since there are no MGT courses offered during summer. (no fee remission on WP courses)

Applications are due: Monday, November 20 2009 by 5:00 pm to Mari Royer via email or you can turn them in person in 115 AOB4.  I only need one application, please indicate on your application if you are applying for one or more positions.

Note:
Please do not apply if you are not able to teach the discussion sections listed in the schedule. (TAs are not required to attend lectures, however are sometime asked to administer and proctor exams)
