December 2 - Cross Registration opens
December 10 - Last day Cross Registration requests accepted (no
exceptions)
Beginning Tuesday, December 1, all MBA students can request
cross-registration in courses at other GSM campuses under these
guidelines:
- There
must be a space available in the course
-
Day Courses
Day course fees are the same as your Sacramento course fee.
Textpaks are included in the course fee.
-
Bay Area
Courses
An additional $762 Course Differential Fee is necessary to
register in a Bay Area course. This fee covers required
textbooks, textpaks, meals, refreshments, parking, and other
costs for each course in the Bay Area Program; optional
textbooks are not included. Do not request a Bay Area course
for cross enrollment until cross enrollment opens or your
payment will not be adjusted correctly. You can have your books sent directly to you using
the
online textbook form.
All
cross registration enrollment must be confirmed by the GSM
Registrar prior to you receiving your textbooks. Allow 5 to 7
business days to receive your
books from the time you submit the form. If you have questions or
concerns please contact
, San
Ramon Program Coordinator.
- Beginning
December 1:
- Cross
Registration requests must come through the
GSM payment system. Do not email the GSM
Registrar directly. The payment system will notify
the GSM Registrar.
- If
you are paying for an additional course for cross
registration, access the
GSM Payment System
to pay for the additional course.
The number of courses requested needs to be the total number of the quarter. (i.e. If you
already paid for 2 courses, put 3 in the number of
courses.) Once you have paid for the course
indicating its a cross registration course, an email
will be automatically generated by the payment system to the GSM
Registrar with your cross registration information.
- It is
strongly recommended if you are interested in a Bay Area
course that you pay as soon as cross enrollment opens so
you can be added to the course and receive course
materials (textbooks and textpaks) prior to the
beginning of the quarter.
- If we
receive more requests than there are spaces available,
we will allocate spaces based on your total completed
units (units in progress are not counted). Students
with the most completed units will be enrolled first and
so on. If you do not submit your cross registration request
on the first day of cross registration, it will not
be possible to give students with high unit totals
priority.
- Beginning
Tuesday, December 8:
Once it has been verified that space is available in the
course requested and that you have paid for the course
(including the Course Differential Fee, if applicable), you
will be registered and your registration status will be
confirmed via e-mail by the GSM Registrar.
- Drop
deadlines for Bay Area courses are different and you
need to refer to the
Bay Area Academic Calendar to make
sure you are aware of the drop deadline.
- Drop deadlines for Day
courses are the same as the
Sacramento program.
- It is
your responsibility to be familiar with the appropriate
deadlines if you request registration outside your home
location.
- Thursday,
December 10:
- Last
day to pay for cross registration courses
- Last
day cross registration requests accepted. Because of
the complexity of cross registration, it is not possible
to accept late requests.
